"Look out below"? "Good Luck"?

If times were stagnant I could see the point of this sentiment, but right now the 777 fleet is adding 15+ as a direct replacement for the 747 routes and it pays the same. The 737 I don't even know but a bunch, A319/320 another 10+ in 2017, 787 a couple more yet to come and then forget it in 2018 when the A350 starts showing up.

Nobody "below" needs to look anywhere. There is plenty of growth and pilot retirement to absorb a couple hundred movements.

I'm sad to see the 747 going as it marks the end of an era, and I sympathize with the folks in Houston who find themselves in the unenviable position of being in a slightly shrinking base, but overall I don't see a whole lot of reason to be concerned.

Gonna be pretty chaotic for at least 6 months esp with strategic and in many cases bitter bumpers. Don't get to attached to last bid if you junior.
