I interviewed last week. White board next to Doris' desk said interviewees could expect mid June Indoc, so currently about 3 months turn around. Also was told they would give at least 30 days notice prior to being assigned Indoc date.

I don't think that's correct. It should be just under 30 days notice. Seats are held for returning pilots until 30 days prior to the class.

Which airframe to get me to ORD the fastest?

What would be better for the near term out of ORD, the guppy or the bus?
Make sure you ask them what United can do for YOU!

That's the last announced class. Still expecting additional classes to be announced in the next few weeks, likely at fewer than 3 per month.

Mother was an FA at UA for 35 years. Would that help my application at all?
also a veteran, how much does that help?

Similar situation with retired UAL family member. I was wondering the same thing. I know on airline apps it has a section for immediate family working for the airline. Years ago they also had a "Sons and Daughters" program but I think that went away a while back. Anyone with info on anything else for UAL brats would be appreciated.

My grandfather worked for UAL for 34 years and wasn't a pilot; they told me to list him in the legacy section of the application.

I start class Tuesday.
