Why does this happen every month, and for those clamoring to change it in the next contract. Remember the company paid us for the flexibility to make late-month marketing (block hour changes). So for those who can't wait, what are you willing to give up?

3-H-3 For profit-sharing based on the years 2014 and beyond, the Company profit sharing plan shall be funded with ten percent (10%) of pre-tax profit up to a pre-tax margin of six and nine-tenths percent (6.9%) plus twenty percent (20%) of pre-tax profit in excess of a pre-tax margin of six and nine-tenths percent (6.9%).

3-H-4 Special and unusual items shall be excluded from pre-tax profit when making the calculations in Sections 3-H-2 and 3-H-3.

I am going with about 10.1% of 2016 earning (minus 2015 profit sharing payment from Mar 2016) as the total to be paid at the end of Feb.

I don't think they're exactly the same :D Course I only took a quick look and maybe I missed something . . .

2015 Pre-tax Inc = $4.2 bil Special Charges = $326 mil. Rev. = $37.9 bil

2016 Pre-tax Inc = $4.5 bil Special Charges = $669+Q4? Rev= $36.6 bil

Revenue down. Earnings up.

Translation: Higher profit on better margins = bigger check than last year.
