Lax on Lax off; Lax on again

Could start immediately by sh1t canning all the RJs and putting mainline jets at the gates. 320/guppy is an immediate 3x increase over an RJ per slot/gate.
Waited the other day for over an hour and it was all because of the RJ clown show in the lane. Ramp controller sounded like he was about to open the window and start shooting at them.

Meanwhile, gotta get those RJs in n out on their "quick" turns.

Being clogged by RJs is one thing.....having a 737 work a mx issue for 30 minutes in the alley before taxing out and taking off is another!! There is a big area down by our hangar that is great for working a mx issue. Especially when planes are waiting for gates. I'm just say'n.
That is all.

United's got 2 RJs/day LAX-LAS; both of those could be replaced with 320s/guppies.
United's got 4 RJs/day LAX-SBA; replace them with 2 320s/guppies. If there's enough demand, make it 3 NBs/day. That would allow more markets to be served.

Maybe part of the reason is the NG's wingspan is 118'
The classic's wingspan is 95'. That's a lot of '.

Delta is moving out of Terminal 6 in May of this year. Let's see if Oscar subleases Continental Gates 60-69 to someone else or starts using them for United. And yes, 4 of those gates are unrestricted WB gates.
