Just finished the Hogan test. At the end I got "unfortunately we currently have many qualify candidates and we will not be able to schedule you for additional testing"
I guess I didn't make it. I took the advice of being honest and don't try to think about what they want to hear and it didn't work. Good luck to the rest of you guys.

As few of us mentioned it before - this test is NOT about honesty or about you being who you are. The test is totally illogical and it eliminates some high quality candidates. I’ve been told that the airline side doesn’t want it but that Atlanta does.
They keep changing or “tweaking” the criteria regularly so the “correct answer” on monday might be incorrect by wednesday. They say they don’t want “canned” answers but that’s not true. It’s ALL about pretending and giving them the answers they want to hear, on that specific day.

+1. Not to jinx myself, but when i passed the united hogan in 2008 i told them what they wanted to hear vs honesty. Still waiting to get ups hogan invite

Does “Active” on ones app mean you are under consideration for the Hogan test? Ive been “active” for all of 2017, and all of my 3 previous apps reflect “active” too. Trying to figure out if “active” is indeed better than “on file”......thanks!

Yes, Active means you’re in the short stack. If and when that call comes for the phone interview, nobody on the line knows. In general, a phone interview will happen prior to the Hogan, unless you made an impression at a job fair. In that case, you could receive the Hogan without the phone interview.

This is exactly what I’ve been told.
Also, check your spam folder for hogan email invites. The domain name might not say ups.

Hogan invitation used to come from @equifax.com email address. I would assume it’s the same today, but haven’t talked to anyone recently that’s received it.

I have been "active" for almost a year and am well short of 1000tpic, so I don't know how accurate that information is anymore. Not arguing, just adding data to the speculation.
I'd love it if I was actually in the short stack.
