Another question. Reading the CBA, is the Defined Benefit (pension) 1% average last five years x YOS OR $4,000 (increasing to $4,200) x YOS (both if Captain)? Or is it the higher of the two? It is a bit confusing.

Also, does the company contribute any money towards Medical option 1 HSA?

Higher of. The 4000 is e "flat dollar amount" and must be negotiated each contract. It may not be there in the future.
