Several people were displaced from October to November. Not sure how many, though.

No. What is driving the possible “slowdown” is the upcoming 74 SDF bid, which will have huge training implications as all locks are out the window.

The company can't publish the 747 SDF bid until late October, and the bid will take two weeks from publish to close and another couple days to award...then a training bid that will take another couple weeks to be published and be awarded.

Doesn't seem to compute that the new 747 SDF domicile would have much impact on an early October newhire class then; if anything, seems November would be more impacted.

But WTFDIK?

Why prevents them from running it before late October?

The 60 day clock to the NET date commenced with the letter from UPS to the IPA.
