Jan 7 Class will be larger than initially planned.
(Initially scheduled for 2*747ANC + 8*757ONT for a total of 10 new hires. Now 28 total.)
The latest count:

22*757 (no info on which 757 domicile)

Since they’re (supposedly) no longer splitting classes up into heavies and light-twins I wonder who gets to pick 74? ..because I still think there’ll be two 74 slots in that class.
Maybe the two most senior guys/gals in your class have already made their choice? Please let us know how you all ended up picking your airplanes and domiciles?

In the December system bid, there was actually a reduction in Z FO positions. Now, no one got displaced as multiple Z FO’s moved to other equipment and they backfilled Z positions. Point being, I don’t think there will be any Z positions available to new hires until the next system bid, unless they did not have enough people to backfill vacancies created, I believe Boiler/Whale someone posted rough math of remaining slots for new hires?
And you don’t want to be in Z as a very junior guy anyways. Movement is VERY SLOW compared to domestic.
