I'm not sure if it is allowed or not but I know one guy that used one for a crash pad and he ended up parking it in a travel park somewhere.

RVs do show up from time to time but they dont stay very long (days). The parking lot is very tight and there are a lot of guys (pilots, mechs, rampers, etc) competing for those spots. I imagine you would get a note on your windshield fairly quickly, but I dont know that for a fact.

There's another lot across the street which is pretty big and usually open and could fit a large RV/trailer but I don't know how that would be met.

Speaking of parking lots why in the world can we not tow all of the abandoned vehicles that are in Edgewood? I can’t believe how many people leave cars to rot in that parking lot and nothing is done with them.

Is the hotel route pretty common? I'd imagine the cost might almost be a wash with the price of renting a place out there.

Why do you care? A serious question.

I used to have a car in sdf which I’d use twice a year, maybe. I let my friends use it too but otherwise it was in the same spot for months at a time. Parked it far away from the gate so I didn’t take a good parking spot from anyone.

The car looked like crap (and I’m being very generous) BUT it ran and was available to me when I needed it.
To you it probably looked like I left it there to rot but to me it was my savior when I’d end up in looneyville against my wishes (failed bidding, cancelled flight, etc)

PLEASE don’t give management any stupid ideas.

Probably because everyone isn't as courteous as you and on a locals regular walk from the back of the parking lot you can count 10 cars that haven't moved in a year.

Probably the same guys who talk in the hallways of the sleeproom building, leave the bunk blankets balled up on the floor, eat whatever catering they prefer...
