What are u worried about? FDX is a monster Internationally. Do u fly Intl with FDX? They outnumber UPS at every major gateway by 3x. CRK has 4 wide bodies to UPS 1. NRT has 9 WB on the Ramp to UPS 2. KIX 6 WB's to UPS 2. SIN has 3 to UPS 1. You want me going?? I can go on with a dozen more. FDX may have a weak Scope, but it isn't affecting there footprint at all.

So because our weak scope isnt effecting our footprint we should just leave the scope weak? Yeahhhh that type of thinking has never ended poorly for a pilot group in the past before......

Seems a little short sighted. Fred wanted every little box on a purple tail. Not sure that’s the case moving forward, but you go with that.

I will Swede. Obviously u havent been outside of the US flying. FDX is bigger now than before Fred retired at Intl. Airports. I see it daily. This sky isn't falling because of their weak scope doesnt match reality. Even in CGN they have three planes a night at our Hub. We have one plane in CDG.

Your weak scope hasn't hurt you yet. Like I said, look at your numbers across the globe. FDX is huge. Weak Scope and all. We have a great scope, but still have 1/3rd your planes on ramps???? Hmmmm.....

I’ve been flying Europe for years and have never seen more than one airplane at a time in Cologne. Sometimes days without seeing even one. Their sort facilities are in CDG and Liege, not Cologne. And from what my Purple buddies have told me, those pesky ASL 737s are getting more and more popular on the ramps there too.

How do they get away with this with our “awesome” scope?

The flights that Star operates for us are routes we're not legally allowed to due to European cabotage rules.

Regarding Greece, why would FedEx be able to fly 757’s and MD-11’s to Greece, but not UPS?
