Good to know calls are going out for June! For some reason I thought the May class would likely soak up the rest of the vacancies from the 75 new hires announced with the last bid. Where did you hear about a July class? Or are you just putting out feelers?

Admittedly, I don’t fully understand the process for hiring through vacancy bids. And what I mean by that is I’m not sure if they can keep interviewing and hiring FOs beyond the 75 positions announced in the last bid. Perhaps they will continue until they see a need to re-balance CA/FO seats with another bid for upgrades to the left seat?
Maybe some of the more seasoned guys can chime in on that.

They can interview and put into the hiring pool as many people as they want.
They can provide CJOs and class dates to as many people as they want.
They cannot provide specific newhire assignments unless there are positions available for those assignments remaining from a system bid.

All of the above is a WAG. Don’t put off a start date at another good company waiting for this place to call.
