Default MD-11

Have all the pilots on the MD-11 been sent to training for a new aircraft, or are they still collecting min guarantee? I searched the other threads but couldn’t find any concrete info.

min guarantee…or maybe more…for some senior peeps prob another year

How is UPS still hiring if there are 400+ MD-11 pilots backlog training for a new airplane?

Pre or post displacement, there were, is, are, nowhere near 400 pilots. 250-ish. And we are not hiring.

An educated guess says half the MD guys will retire, won’t retrain on new aircraft.
