Of course, relative seniority is a fluid term however, for someone hired in 2016 are you saying he/she would've had a better relative seniority in MIA versus SDF flying the MD? You might be correct but I'd like to understand how you came to this conclusion?

When there are upgrades/retirements above me, someone senior from another fleet fills that vacancy. So it is pretty stagnant near the bottom.
I'd have better relative seniority on any other SDF fleet, but I don't have the ambition to endure another long-term training cycle for a small seniority jump.
Maybe some movement on all fleets/domiciles when the B747s arrive and MDs start to be parked.

I have heard similar stuff. The rumor I heard is that the MD's will be here for at least 8 more years.

How so? Based on the numbers Boiler posted earlier the 3 most junior pilots in MIA were hired this year. However, the 4th guy from the bottom is an '07 hire..

Lines are built with no more than 4 in a row of flying, block of days off, etc.
