For the newcomers, the 75/76 in Louisville is divided into two seperate bid categories: domestic and international (labeled Z). Domestic guys transitioning to the Z go thru a relatively quick intl course & OE. The Z is a little more senior for newer FO's.

This is good info. Can you elaborate a little more on the differences between the two as far as parings go? Is the Z longer blocks away and home?

Z is international with some domestic flying with longer blocks....
Domestic is domestic with somewhat shorter blocks. There are some 10-12 day domestic trips, but not many. Lots of weekend layovers on Domestic side. A reserve domestic guy can though, go to Mexico and Canada as well as ANC.

Not necessarily. It is pretty diverse. The majority would fit that description but we have a lot of short stuff too. The two week long trips tend to go pretty senior.

I'm curious about Miami pairings/schedule for junior seniority. What hire date is lowest seniority FO?

By far the most senior domicile. A month ago a former MIA FO who's riding on our jumpseat said it took him 14+ years! to hold a decent reserve line..

The 14 years is a product of the times and past performance should not be considered a predictor of future returns (or however that goes). With such a long gap in hiring you can find similar horror stories on most fleets, like the gap Boiler points up in the bottom z guys. Fingers crossed for going forward
