Yes, I remember this one--it's PKMJ (Majuro). I let the Copilot land here once--he lined up on the drainage ditch on the right side since it was full of water. I said "Are you sure you see the runway?" A second look and he figured it out. I went there with a military plane and the natives were lined up at the fence to stare at the space alien.

PKWA is cool as well--not too far away, either. So are PTSA & PTKK. I've got photos somewhere but I just don't know where to start looking, they're so old... Good times.

Yes, St Lucia was fun, I landed there at night after doing the NDB approach!
I have one from Virgin Gorda, will figure out how to post it.

Cool Landing on the Ice at McMurdo Station Antarctica (Pegasus)

The 3 black flags mark each side of the prepared Ice surface. It actually gives a surface just slightly slicker than a wet runway. RCR 11 compared to wet runway RCR 12. Definitely the "coolest" place I've ever been/landed (pun INTENDED!).

Ehh that doesn't do the elevation justice. Let me see if I can dig one of my old approach photos. Wonder if my scanner will work.

They used to have GREAT breakfast ( saw Dick Van Dike eating there once) but last time I had gone it was horrible, bout 4 years ago.

My Home Airport, Located in Valparaiso, Chile - South America, ICAO code SCRD... Still challenging during spring and summer due to gust and temperature, relatively short strip for heavily loaded aircrafts... 2500 x 65 ft not a big deal if you look at the numbers, but when you have cliffs and drops at both Runway ends... Mmm.
BE-9, TBM7 and PA31T are operated from here regularly tough.Cheers!
