I got to say, that last one is simply magical! I am beginning to enjoy pictures on this board way more than anet... I've got to get myself a decent camera in the near future. Looks so much fun!! (although I do not live in Alaska).

FoD, those are just amazing. The first and third shots, particularly, are extraordinary. It took me several minutes to let these shots soak in . . . that DC-6 juxtaposed on that awesome snowscape is spectacular.

My wife imported me to Alaska, I don't regret the decision to move up from California. Although when it was -40 in Barrow one night and every part of my body was freezing I did miss mild California.
