Yep, and #244 has a nice new paint job as well.
One of those things about aviation - what you see so often becomes the mundane and even boring to you, but is still something amazing to be seen.
How long until the Great Trimotorsauras is gone for good?
I don't know, but it will be a sad day when no one I know doesn't twitch at least a little when I yell "Check Essential!" into a crowded room!

Damn,
That's impressive!
Almost impressive as:
Flight, flight, fuel, fuel, panel, pumps, pressurize the APU.
Or, as I think someone here is named:
Two A off One B On And Checked
Good times!

Five and a half years sitting on THAT panel, 25 some years ago and I think I could still do a preflight on it. Check essential 3-1-2.
Have you guys retrofitted the cockpits with any glass? Delta was going to do that in the 90s but decided not to and kept the Omegas until they died. A glass cockpit on a 72 would have been Niiiice.

Interconnect closed clear to push. 1500 hours on the -100 panel a long time ago.

I love how perfectly exposed and colorful your first shot is.
All of the orange lights on the engineer's panel are the same lights as the reverse indicators on the DC6. Its crazy also that the landing light switches on the DC6 are the same as the ones in 737s.
