Dont get my wrong, I enjoy the golf cart with wings as much as the next CFI. I probably have a few hundred or so hours in one tucked away in the logbook.

It is no pristeen warrior like this young buck is flying though.

I think that was all or our attitudes at 17!! I was able to hold out until 26. Good luck with that!

Heck, if I get furloughed, i'll go up into alaska and fly in the bush, or possibly find some sort of smaller charter job in a twin...
Keep the dream alive. I was military for 20 years as enlisted, and I did not start GA flying until I was 31. For you to have the passion at such a young age is awesome. I have a 13 year old son and it already in his brain housing group that he will start flying when he is 14, to solo when he is 16, and PPL at 17.

Good luck to you, the industry will tuen around, it always does...only takes a while. We go through this crap every 5-7 years. You will hit the job market at the right time and get with an RJ program.

Congrats on your license!

I'm not sure what would be cheaper...getting married or just spending it on hookers and booze. Maybe 1800 can tell us the current rates in HKG

Congrats man.

I got my private in 94 and decided to make a career out of it in 99. I finished all my ratings right after 9/11. I paid my dues and 7 years later I am flying a King Air and loving it. I also got my A&P IA which helped a lot. That was on the advise of a Fedex captain he said I would never have to worry about work and he was right.
