The University of North Dakota for commercial aviation and then after that any decent regional carrier. My ultimate dream is to fly for Delta or really any legacy airline. I've known that I wanted to become a commercial pilot since I was like 4...never had any doubts about that. A NWA 747 Capt once told me "I never worked, I just flew for the fun of it". One of the best quotes ever.

CONGRATS!
I got my PPl on my 17th birthday...just don't do anything dumb (DUI's MIP's etc.) and keep working on the flying

Yes - best of luck in the future. I still remember that day and still think of it as a huge turning point.

Congrats....Still, get a degree in something unrelated to aviation. Trust me.

I know it's not the smartest thing just to major in commercial aviation, but flying is the only thing I can see myself doing in the future. I'll never be a business man. I just want to fly. Theres jobs all over the place, you just have to be willing to move around. Heck, if I get furloughed, i'll go up into alaska and fly in the bush, or possibly find some sort of smaller charter job in a twin...

Sadly this is no longer the case. It is true there is always a flying job somewhere but when you are married with two kids and a home and making 6 figures for Delta and you get furloughed moving to east nowhere florida to tow a banner will not be an option.

I fully encourage your dream and think you are on the right path but just remember that where you are at this stage in life is not where you will be 10 years from now and it can be a tough market. I also truly enjoy flying but being married and owning a home where I will not move away from if I lose this job and can not find another local flying job it will be home depot for me.
