Default Nikon camera question

Hi, I have a Nikon coolpix L20/L19 and I have tried to get sharper pictures at close range and for some reason am having a problem with getting the sharpness correct.
Anyone in here have the same camera?

Ally

I don't have that camera but do shoot Nikon. There could be a few reason that your not getting sharp pics. I would also need to know what focal range that your shooting at in order to help you . Most likely it is motion blur that is causing this. In order to fix that you probably need a tripod.

Very good shot. At close range keeping the camera as still as possible is the best way to get a sharp pic. Also with a p&s it even more important due to the lag of taking the pic and transference. Once again good shot.

I will try to find my pic of a man eater tiger. Went back stage at the zoo to get it. The first time I ever felt not at the top of the food chain. The look in it's eyes, I will never forget that.
