I had a CASA going backward @ about 40kts over lakewales florida once. dropping skydivers. on jump run i had them spacing 50 seconds between groups. you could watch them fall almost strait down after they exited

That's solid, we had a patch for that, but it was 1000 knots true - no cheating / penalization for wind. ~1.7M if I remember right, which is about as fast as a shotgun shoots.
