Default Ferry Flight PC12 Africa to USA

Here are some pics from my most recent Ferry Flight (one I quit my job at Colgan for... I only had another month or two before the furlough anyways)

Enjoy!

Here are the photos of the flight (the board only allows me to post 3 pics)

I took a 210 over to the UK with a friend a few years ago. Most fun I ever had in an airplane.

Why did you hire for left seat? Did you need someone with the PC experience or route experience?

I didnt hire anyone.
I was hired by the charter company (who bought the plane) in order to plan the flight and accompany their pilot during the flight itself. I got close to 40 hours of PC time out of it. (plus my fee of course!)

Nice work Ben. Also nice to get some time in a popular fleet type as well.

Where did you stop in Africa, ex-CPT? Also, the PC-12 has the range to do Scotland to Narsararaq, non-stop with reserves, impressive?

It has a pretty impressive range considering its size.... about 1700nm at 240 knots TAS (winds dependent of course), or roughly 7 hours endurance. Not sure of the distance between the two places you listed though.
