3:11 mark...
...the 109 shows a loss of the entire left aileron plus the whole right flap is missing. This at high-speed low level flight = at least some(?) loss of lift and virtually all roll control = dead German pilot....yet he keeps on flying as if no control surfaces had been lost. Yes, nitpicky, but why go to the time and trouble to make something like this and miss important details?
On a broader note, the clip reminds me a lot of the B-17 sequence from the movie "Heavy Metal".

Cute cartoon, but the history of Poland in WW II is one of the worst.
They lost the highest percentage of population among the countries involved.
They got the short end of the stick twice and were crushed between two massive vice jaws. War is ugly, but it is not the ugliest thing.

It is a good thing to have to run or fight for your life at some point, it teaches you a valuable lesson. The fight may visit you without any provocation on your part.
