This was a great article. When it came out last May.

If APA is able to negotiate 757 rates for the A321 (currently on the table), some people may change their tune I bet.

UPS has the correct idea. I have always liked pay based on seniority not on equipment. Why shouldn't all the oldies have to go fly international wide body to make their pay?

It's actually 3218. The 321's we're getting in late 2015 will have 3220 seats. But with us charging more for carry ons than checked, the people stand up, grab their backpack from under the seats and walk off. We can get 218 people off in about 12 minutes. It's amazing to watch, really. Plus, there is always overhead space for commuters.
