SO - Where's the SLI?
#241
I think everyone was pretty clear.. We won't see the draft OR the comments about the draft. Only the final award. Well, except for those who've benefitted from the leaks...maybe someone misunderstood the idea of "confidentiality".

Seniority List Integration Update 6/30
The time period for committee comments on the draft Seniority List Integration (SLI) arbitration has been extended. Last week, the SLI arbitration panel provided a confidential draft award to the three SLI committees and the Company for review and comment. To accommodate party schedules, initial committee comments are now due to the panel no later than July 8, 2016, rather than July 5, 2016. Each party will then have until July 27, 2016, to respond to the submitted comments.
The draft award, the comments on the draft award, and the responses to the comments are confidential and will not be published. Three seniority integration committees — the East Pilots Seniority Integration Committee (EPSIC), the West Merger Committee (West Committee), and the AA Pilots Seniority Integration Committee (AAPSIC) — are participating in the SLI process, each representing the pilots on the respective pre-merger seniority lists (US Airways East list, US Airways West list, and American Airlines list).
APA is neutral and did not advocate for any proposed integrated seniority list (ISL) because it is the collective bargaining agent for all of the pilots flying for the new American Airlines. The APA National Officers and the Board of Directors have not received a copy of the draft award, and APA will not be reviewing the draft award for comment.
The SLI arbitration panel consists of arbitrators Dana Eischen, Ira Jaffe, and M. David Vaughn. SLI arbitration hearings concluded in January 2016, and post-hearing briefs were filed by each of the three seniority integration committees on March 28, 2016.

The BOA wasn't even phased by the 9th tossing a grenade into MB. Now that they have made a decision, I don't see a mere "committee" webuttal (Elmer Fudd voice) I don't see a committee being granted permission of verbosity (except for their own consolation).
Definitely just vacation. Committe comments will mostly make for a good bird cage floor covering, but the whole process (complexity and duration) makes everyone go "ooh, ahh".
How come pilots need arbitrators to figure out seniority..(the FAs did a better job negotiating too)? Bob Crandall warned the pilots and said they should figure out seniority for themselves. We shall see. We shall see.
