I used to make fun of CatCrew and its primitive green screen interface. Then I saw DECS. I'd make fun of DECS' user interface, but there isn't one. I have new respect for LAA folk that have managed their professional lives via this thing. I award honorary Computer Science degrees to all of you.

I'd urge any US crews that are new to using DECS to download and use the APA app. There's a seamless sign in process, drop down menus for these convoluted entries, and even the ability for text notifications when trips become open. Between CCI and the APA app, I have no need to use DECS on a Sabre set or use Mobile FOS.

CATCREW is archaic, obsolete, and absolutely out of date....However DECS's is something to behold. Marconi, Westinghouse, Edison would all feel right at home in DECS.

Bid sheet question? P&C listed at the bottom. Sequence (your old 'pairing?) P&C? DECS 'HSS/.... ' entry. Referred to as an 'HSS' - "do you have the HSS for this trip?"

Hourly rates? Activity report on jetnet shows what you get paid per minute. APA negotiating committee link has the contract and contract comparison data. Both include pay rates.
