Default ATP not offering ATP test

So just talked with ATP, they said they are long longer offering the ATP written prep, since people were not taking now. But they seem to advertise this program online. Any thoughts?

Will they still administer the test? Just not provide the test prep?

If you are looking for test prep, use Sheppard Air. Their products and methods are second to none.

If you can get thru - also I'd suggest Shepherd Air and then go test a week before dead line as I heard test centers may be filling up.

Just fyi there are a lot more test centers than at flight schools, my favorite place is a restaurant supply place that has the lasergrade test suite, not appointment just walk in...

Forget going to ATP. I just finished my atp written using Shepard air and it worked out for me. All you have to do is study their online prep and study the way they instruct you too and you should be fine. I studied for 3 1/2 weeks and took the test and made an 80%. Granted its not 90% or 100% but the idea is to pass the test before the deadline. Mission Accomplished..........

I heard today that ATP has raised their price for the ATP exam to $295! Gouging people just like they normally do, in this case, due to the demand to take this test.

Screw ATP, as pilots, we need to do everything we can to avoid this place.

Lol, I think it has been $295 for a decent amount of time.

Supply and demand my friend. The place I went to take my exam raised their price from $100 to $170 at the start of july.

Back many years ago, I used the gliem book to study for it and worked just fine. Does anyone use them anymore?

Anyone who takes a written at ATP for $295 wants to waste money. There are many places I can think of that will give it to you for far, far less.

If you haven't yet bought a test prep, don't wait around. Sheppard Air is stopping new sales of their ATP test prep on the 28th. Hold times are ridiculous also.

I talked to a friend who asked one of their customer service folks about their sales of the ATP test prep. She said that they usually sell 6,000/month, and that up to July 20th they had sold 33,000 in July alone!
