Most airlines including Delta forbid wearing the uniform unless you are working or going to and from work. You are not permitted the liquid exemption for normal non rev travel. TSA hates KCM and is looking for every chance to kill it and other crew entry programs. Let's not give them ammunition!

They are constantly catching crew members abusing the entry programs, including a few FFDO's who are now out of the program. The odds of getting nabbed are higher than one might think, and you could face prosecution if the violation is severe enough. And you might be surprised what is considered severe. Just don't do it. And if you know someone who is or is planning to do it, you owe it to them and to your crew members who rely on these programs to get them to stop.

Do like the agent says. Go to gate. They will check the large bag into the normal cargo and you pick it up at baggage claim. Only thing is it has to fit through security scanners. The only bad is that you have to abide by fluid amounts. As an offline I beleive that is the only way.

If it's that big a problem, use your Corporate discount and FedEx or Delta Dash the bag to yourself.
How big is that bag? I always carry my 24" TravelPro that is usually expanded to its limits and I've NEVER had a problem with it fitting through any airport's xray machine....
(regular TSA, as I don't have KCM privileges.)

If you're jumpseating on Delta and you want to check a bag just go to the ticket counters they will create a listing for you and check the bag.

We've waited this long. Why not wait a little longer and get Surface Pro 3 or 4 with Windows 10 that was announced today (they are skipping Win9 name). The RT is already being phased out. Why not do things right the first time out of the gate?

Yeah, they skipped 9 because the name wasn't "big" enough, hmmm. They are still saying it is a free upgrade for 8.1 users, so...fingers crossed.
Windows 8.1 pro has been, so far, the best Windows yet for me, even on desktop. The thing is, you have to sit down and customize the GUI first. I think many people took one look at it, and went "bleh", and that was that. It certainly is more productive than my MacPro OSX, and so far, it has been more stable too.
Although, I think for the EFB's, they should have went with Apple, as the user interface is more for everyone, while Windows leans more towards the tech savoy.
