Not to start a highschool who's cooler than who but I've received quite a few texts supporting this funny subject and you're in the minority on this one. I don't have any problem with you and gladly would walk your stuff in at my place if you wanted me too. I don't have any problem helping out the majority at Silver in leaving if they want.
Oh and don't worry. I will NOT sugar coat anything. If someone asks about commutability don't you worry. I plan brutal honesty. Hopefully we take a page or two from the book your airline wrote. What an industry it would be if we followed that place's example.
Sorry for the lack of names for both people involved and airlines, but anonymous is the name of the game. Plus I would probably murder the spelling of your last name. When I asked you how to spell it when I put your number in my phone in the Cleveland crew room you said, "just put.... .. .. ....." Ya well you know. . Merry Xmas to all and to all a good night.

Ya man it's an easy last name to butcher lol. I never had a problem with you it just makes my blood boil thinking of the crap that upper mgmt puts the pilot group through. I know many people need the PIC to move on I just hate that this place uses that as leverage to make money. Unfortunately that's more an industry's fault than Silver but they're not saints in the matter. If you didn't hear what happened to me a yr ago with the ole Knappsack pm me. You'll understand why I loathe this company for continuing to employ him. What's sad is there was many more who got it worse than me and I can only imagine what it was like having to go home and have that conversation with their family.

Well good to hear there are no ill feelings. I have had similar texts as well so good thing we are not in a battle. I also have gotten 2 texts from people that flew with you as captains that consider themselves your friends agreeing with me. Mind you both of these people I don't know and have never met. They found my number from word of mouth. Difference is I hear from people still here. 6 in total. Ok so one is a union rep so maybe he doesnt count. Not people that left like you did. Current pilots. As I said before. You are right in everything you have said about this place. It is a broken airline. I hope we fix it. I also hope we stay in business long enough for all of us, your friends included, to upgrade. You may feel that I am in the minority, but for the people that still work here that is not the case. We need help but I only want us all, you included, to reach their aviation goals. I think we can, from here on, agree to disagree. We agree this place is FAR from perfect, but hopefully you will consider allowing silver employees to comment to perspective new hires as to the way things work here. From the beginning that was my only goal. To ALL that left, good luck. We all would leave for the right opportunity if it came up. Hopefully we all sit in a bar in hotlanta one day and joke about how we ended up there for recurrent on the same month.

I just want to clarify. You are right. This airline needs help. I don't dispute that. Never have. Just let us deal with our own $h!t storm.

Dude how cool would that be. I still have a lot of boxes to check but that would be nuts. Imagine seeing a Barcelona 4 day with both our names on it? Ok time to leave never never land and back to reality.
