There are positives and negatives to any regional, but it's a leg up to know there is a interview in hand. 1 in the hand, 2 in the bush.

I'm really glad they extended the SSP to FOs, however remember that CPZ guys hired after the flow was sunsetted have a guaranteed DL interview, too.

That's arguable. From a numbers standpoint yes Gulfstream worked for many pilots but as previously mentioned several were involved in accidents and the last ~10 yrs all the regional accidents had one ex-gulfstream pilot.
