Could be, but I have a lot friends that have as much, or more, time and experience as I do that can't get a call for anything. I was furloughed from a long-haul international cargo joint and now am getting back to the domestic game. I am heading back to propellers once again, should be fun remembering how those things work!

When I applied six months back I called the recruiting line ahead of time, and once again when I clicked submit on my app. Was it needed? Maybe not, but it was useful to talk to someone and verify they see my app as I do and track down any small errors (and we found minor formatting ones, you never know what their system might flag)

Good luck with the new job, Pete.

There must be some reason... Recency? You sure that record is flawless? I don't think they just turn people down for no reason...

13 years ago when I did Airline Apps. I got an email from Messa to fill out their application. Then in never heard back from them. Decided to review my app again to see if I did something wrong and saw that I had inadvertently clicked the yes box that asked if I'd committed a felony. In hindsight I'm glad that happened

So then what happens to us new folks that have already been re-assigned to JFK -200?

We'll go where we were originally assigned until our move date. I've been asking instructors about that very thing here at HQ. The move date is on the final award that came out Tuesday.

Interesting... I hope everything worked out in the end for you! Just want to clarify though, are you somewhere you want to be right now, or did you take a second option?

Also, thank you for those who replied to my original post. Received the call today Looking forward to hopefully working with you all soon!

9E was always my first choice...I am scheduled to start class at a different place in a few weeks. I guess it is what it is. Congrats and good luck!

Hi all, did anyone else just watch this exposé on PBS about NAI? Pretty interesting but I'm still not sure why it's getting so blown up. Anyone savvy on this?

Noob question: Is the retention bonus paid every 3 or 4 months? Also, how much net $ (roughly) does it end up being? I believe the bonus is taxed at a flat rate.
