Please spread the word PSA pilots...
PSA pilots aren't supposed to be reserving the Jumpseat on mainline aircraft via the hotline. Apparently someone in the training center is giving out bad info. IT is fixing the problem. In the mean time.. Please don't do it.

What's the difference between me listing as a non-rev of listing JS through the hotline?

It lists you in a category you can't fly on: D2WP or D2WA. I believe you can only list D2 via online NRTP. Calling this number only allows listing as a WP or WA not D2. This takes away the ability of a mainline pilot to even list. Once those are booked they're gone for that flight. The beginning of the automated system says it's only to be booked by pilots at American.

No, the non rev rules aren't being followed.

Cool man, just trying to have a conversation about it. The way the rules work it doesn't make a difference either way. The mainline guy is going to get the seat regardless of how it was booked.
You must be an American Airlines pilot though so you probably know more than me.

It's a planning convienence you're taking from the pilots at American. They can't reserve it because they think it's booked by another American pilot. I book a week out and plan my commute then. Two PSA guys book it and I don't know for sure that I have a seat on that flight.
