Keep in mind that while Delta is taking on small narrowbodies to replace MD80's and 50-seaters, it's unfortunately doing everything it can to outsource the best-paying top-end widebody jobs too. If you want a good career at mainline, gotta stay focused on the whole picture, not just getting there.
