Default Reserve

As a new FO on reserve, how much of the time on reserve could one expect to fly vs not being called?

Yep, from December until April (got a line in May) I flew 95% of my RSV days.

Over the past 4+ years I spent nearly half that time on reserve and can count on one hand the number of days I wasn't used.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done Reserve at Awac, but I can’t imagine an airline with a worst system. The fact that scheduling calls you on your off day to give you reserve times blows my mind. I’m sure it’s the system they still use there.
