IAD is news to me, good for them. Last I’d heard IAD CA lineholder was at 12+ years.

Which list are you using? Just looked at the latest one in Flica and it shows roughly 60. It’s always +- 20 pilots or so depending on when they update training failures and natural attrition.

A better way of saying it would probably be “we’ve gained an average of 3-4 pilots per month over the last two-ish years.” Not great/not terrible. Some months we gain 10-20 net, some months we lose the same.
Most junior IAD captain lineholder has been on property just under 5 years and is actually 1 month junior to the bottom ORD captain lineholder.

#2 would be pay short and long term, and I know that there is a lot of soft pay compared to other regionals. I have a family and time with them is my number one priority right now. I actually have family in Columbia, SC so choice of bases aren’t a real issue.
Mind you, I haven’t completely ruled them out. They seem like a great company and seem to have a lot to offer. Personally I plan for the long term and really if the Columbia base were to close I don’t think I’d like living in any of their other bases. Obviously I’d like to be at a major in 5 years but the reality is this industry is fickle. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and fly as much as you can.
I truly hope Air Wisconsin continues to stay open. Everybody I have met there have seemed to be amazing people and love the company they work for.
