You’d likely hold IAD within a few months if not right out of new hire training. That being said, you’ll probably never hold IAD CA at this point, so be prepared to commute when you upgrade.
Seniority list has actually grown by just under 90 pilots over the last 2 years.

Most junior IAD reserve captain has been on property 3 years.

Which list are you using? Just looked at the latest one in Flica and it shows roughly 60. It’s always +- 20 pilots or so depending on when they update training failures and natural attrition.

IAD is news to me, good for them. Last I’d heard IAD CA lineholder was at 12+ years.

Same, FLICA. May be using a slightly different start/end date.

A better way of saying it would probably be “we’ve gained an average of 3-4 pilots per month over the last two-ish years.” Not great/not terrible. Some months we gain 10-20 net, some months we lose the same.

Most junior IAD captain lineholder has been on property just under 5 years and is actually 1 month junior to the bottom ORD captain lineholder.

This. Probably the number one reason I’m thinking of passing ZW up

I'm curious what your #2 & #3 reasons would be.

I've always been amused anytime someone in management quits or is hired, the doomsday people are preaching end of times to awac. But we just keep staying in business.

#2 would be pay short and long term, and I know that there is a lot of soft pay compared to other regionals. I have a family and time with them is my number one priority right now. I actually have family in Columbia, SC so choice of bases aren’t a real issue.

Mind you, I haven’t completely ruled them out. They seem like a great company and seem to have a lot to offer. Personally I plan for the long term and really if the Columbia base were to close I don’t think I’d like living in any of their other bases. Obviously I’d like to be at a major in 5 years but the reality is this industry is fickle. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and fly as much as you can.

I truly hope Air Wisconsin continues to stay open. Everybody I have met there have seemed to be amazing people and love the company they work for.
