And today marks another day where the company can’t make a deadline or provide any update as to why there is a delay. No FO bids which should of been out 1-2 hours ago. Just imagine if we were always hours and days late for our flights without a single word of communication. I get it, you might be busy but it takes exactly 25 seconds to type a short message and update us.

There was an announcement yesterday about the bids being delayed again. It didn’t say much but at least someone took 25 seconds to type a short message.

Looks like we're getting CARES money, so I don't think anyone is getting furloughed until October 1st. Maybe it doesn't solve the problem, but at least we have a little bit more time and we'll be able to focus on damage control as much as we possibly can.

theres a little positive news. Will be curious how much flying there will to go around with all of our pilots crammed into 2 bases.

I wouldn't expect too much. We'll all be collecting guarantee until this is over, but crucially this at least buys us all time to figure out how to handle this. Five months is a long amount of time. Who knows, by then demand might at least partially return to the point where we can avoid furloughs, or more government programs may be announced. It's going to be a long couple of months with not much to do, but at least we'll still have our jobs for a little longer if it's approved.

Company email just said they applied for the cares act for payroll support. It would be nice if we all got back to the 75 hour minimum now that we get support. It was difficult to judge the “tone” of the email for what will happen once September comes and the cares act expires

They said they’re still looking for ways to cut payroll so I highly doubt we go back to guarantee.

True. 60 hours a month on FO pay until September is pretty rough. I would make more money collecting unemployment with the additional 600. Nothing I can do about it but it’s annoying to think about.

I wonder how many over 60 guys & gals are going to take advantage of the new LOA....

Not a bad gig...
