Do you feel the same about the guy who flips your burger when you go to the burger joint?

Your name matches your post!!!

You can’t work at the airlines level unless have a green card (US resident) or have been sponsored with the intent to get a green card. Given that most airlines don't currently sponsor and the handful that do have minimal amount you only impact maybe 100 people industry wide. This isnt the restaurant or landscaping industry.

of course he doesn’t, because that’s not a job he wants.

Saw a post on AW friends, I am curious if any PILOT is collecting unemployment for our reduced hours or knows if we can. I’m an FO and wondering if anyone knows if we qualify for anything due to covid 19 it’s getting hard to make ends meet with 60 hours only and barely any per diem. I’m sure I’m not the only one

I’m ok with limitations for pilot visas in the future, but the fact that you would want out of seniority furloughs or deportations for your fellow pilots who happen to be from another country is sickening. Just because you didn’t prepare for a downturn doesn’t mean other people should pay the price.

☝️ Sounds kinda like a Trump speech...by the way I was a greencard holder and just became a citizen so you selling this bull**** about only Americans having jobs is despicable. I also know pilots at the company who have been sponsored and are amazing people to work with and have ability.

Also immigrants don’t come running here to take away American jobs. It’s called equal opportunity and that’s what America is about.

Go stick your head in the sand mate

Sounds like a very bigoted post. I’m sure you’re a diehard Trump ass kisser. He has fueled so much hate in America it’s sad. He’s set us back some 50 years inciting racial hatred and bigotry towards non US citizens. I have no issues with anyone coming here, getting a green card and working as long as it’s done legally. To them, like it was to your ancestors, it’s called “opportunity.”
Your screen name suits you well. You need not only an attitude adjustment, but a lesson in history as, except for native Americans, all of our ancestors migrated here as immigrants.
I myself was from outside the US and my parents and myself became citizens and have worked very hard to get where we are today.

Yeah, um no. He’s spot on. American pilots are and will be furloughed. The visa’s were sponsored in large part due to the shortage of pilots and that is no longer.

American citizens deserve to be protected first. The visa’s need to be cancelled. We have a duty to protect American jobs FIRST.
