That matches my scratch work but doesn’t take into account phantom bids. My guess is 100-130 figuring an estimate of how the phantom bids factor in.

Based upon expected headcount and current headcount the number would be 50-60. I'm probably looking at it wrong, however, my estimates are on par with the other posters.

50-110 notices. I pray for lower because I'm in the bottom 20%.

I believe with the new CBA it was reduced to 21 day notice or 21 days of pay.

If it's more than 100 they have to comply with the WARN Act too don't they?

Possibly, I honestly didn't even know that was a thing. There are certain exceptions though, and I'm sure they could find a way to spin one or two of them if necessary. I'm hoping at this point that conditions will continue to improve and we'll see more captains on the September vacancy, so we might be able to keep furloughs under 100. Just the optimist in me though. The last vacancy was promising at least. It's good to see the amount of downgrades lessened.

Yes they do, it’s 60 days per the WARN Act.

Illinois WARN Act requires 60 day notice. Varies state by state but federally its 60 days. NY for example is 90, which is why Delta pilots received a warning email (letter being mailed)

It's gotta be better than Expressjet. They have 5000 hours for August and we have 4500 or so. Only difference is they were supposed to have more than twice our hours originally.
