Lol who cares whether we fly a 200, 700, 900 or 1000 or a hunk of junk? What matters is having a job and stable income with benefits.
The WiFi thing is comical...#priorities
People have been talking for two decades about 50 seat flying going away...AND IT IS STILL AROUND!!!
If it does goes away, two things will happen:
1) We retrain on new/different planes if we get them.
2) We lose our jobs in which case we spruce up our resumes and go work somewhere else or do something else.
Right now the focus is getting us furloughed lot back on property and working again. I mean hell right now we’re essentially practicing being jobless anyway.

Seriously what gives with the company on this PPP money? So many other companies have notified their employees, a lot rehired and back paid them already! For pete's sake how did they and the union not have a plan ready for if this money came down from on high??

I quit being miserable weeks ago because I realized a Board or managers don’t care if my family eats or starved or if we have a roof or we’re on the street.
When we were shown a door (with a phone call option) it was basically “sorry about this but you’re on your own from here.”
There really isn’t any flying from what I’m hearing so I highly doubt they’re in any rush to bring us back. After all it’s corporate America.

the expression is “we are just a number like any other number.”

On a positive note this has helped empathize having someone by your side who can cover your ass when times are tough, along with having a secondary income available.

It took you being furloughed to figure out you’re just a number? Being a number has it’s rewards too. A seniority list creates easier career progression with erasing politics out of the mix.

Even when you’re recalled you can use that as second income on your free time.

Per treasury.gov the deadline for application is....... today. Then something like 72 hours to recall. If we don't hear anything by then, don't hold your breath, cause it probably ain't gonna happen.

I’m on furlough and got paid by AW this morning. It wasn’t the sweet back pay I was expecting but it’s something, so that’s a good sign
