Why would Amazon do that when they have 737s capable of those missions? Probably FedEx or DHL

Why would legacy airlines use rj’s when they have 737’s? Because some really small markets don’t support a 737, and on a 400 mile trip, even a CRJ 200 is faster than a truck.

Possibly. But that’s not how Amazon’s network is set up. They don’t have Prime Air “gateways” in small towns like ATW EAU GRB.

This was my point, even Fargo to Devils Lake, North Dakota doesn’t need a 737. This is the market they’re gonna be going after. True feeder type routes to smaller communities. Amazon will use 737s to Richmond, Knoxville and all the mid size cities. As I said, rock springs, state college, eau Claire, Jamestown and devils lake don’t need a guppy.
