How would that jive with the AA contract. What I could have seen would be AWAC take over EDV and DL place all DCI 900s there, with the deuces being drawn down. I think there’s two dozen DL owned 900s at Skywest, and some parked at Edv. Merge AWAC and EDV and you can do that no problem.

2. An airline surviving on just 200s doesn't have a long shelf life
3. They'd essentially be buying their future from Delta. Delta likes what's basically free money

Could be a way for Delta to get Air Wisconsin pilots to fly DCI jets and unload the Eagle flying.
Could also be a way to make AA pay Wisconsin more to retain the Eagle flying.
Delta is cutthroat in business and all their decisions serve them first and others second.
No matter who is buying who, if Delta is involved they are definitely serving their own interest somehow.

Both AA and DL are competitors so I doubt Delta would make a sale, or AA allow AWAC to back out of their contract without paying a heavy price. I doubt this rumor.

Or the opposite. Maybe AA makes a side deal with AWAC if they purchase Endeavor they’ll offer a solid contract for the 900 flying.

ZW in no way blew it. DL played hardball about requiring ZW to eat the cost of cancellations DL imposed out of NYC. ZW made the smart business decision not to get involved with that kind of business model.
