Word from the company is that projections show little or no flying at LGA. They say changes are probable with LGA but the timeline is uncertain. Displacements and realignments of the size of what will happen cost the company a lot of money, so I wouldn't expect an announcement soon.

My speculation? Growth at PHL and DCA and probably a domicile in the Carolinas, possibly CLT. The RDU domicile is the real question mark. What happens there?

CLT would be nice. I'm fairly low on the totem pole in ORF, I just hope they don't cut flying and furlough.

A joint base is the rumor I heard...personally I would like to see CLT as a base. They have later flights then PHL...I can't get home direct past 7pm. In CLT I think its like 10pm.

I would only agree with a joint base if the trip would start and end in the same place. Whether its an actual flight or a deadhead, I don't care. I could just see them having you start in CAE and end in CLT and be stuck without transportation cause your car is in CAE.

A joint base would require contractual language which currently does not exist. Or trips would have to have DHs built in.

^^This too.... I would hope our pilot group won't approve any contract language about a joint base unless it's really good.
