I was in the Jan 30th class and i got awarded PHL reserve for 7/1/12. Everyone in my class had gotten ORF initially. but i heard the last class that went through some had gotten PHL initially... so it really varies on where they need people at the time. Some of the people that were in my class were awarded lines for June out of ORF. I live in PHL so i dont really care about being on reserve but its really not taking long to get lines here if you dont care where your based.

I got DCA reserve out of training. Got a line in ORF 1 month later. Now 6 months later, a line in DC, and hopefully I will get a PHL line soon. (all the moves have been up my list, that's why the jumping around.)

Nothing wrong with coming to take a look around. But there area is bigger than you think. I found out the hard way. Rented a car thinking I would find a place in a day...didnt happen. Milk the rooming in ATW/CLT as long as you can, then plan accordingly after that.
