Holy moly... That's ridiculous! We wouldn't want them to be able to have a convention, now would we?

Silly..class starts in ATW. If the convention is a month long, it might be a problem. AWAC has a contract with the Wingate in CLT. We get our block of rooms. If the convention is a issue, why not delay the systems ground a week?

Really, attrition has slowed. We have a lot of PRIA request from B6 and Federal Express, but not a lot of bodies have left. I think that is a factor.

Yes, I realize this. Like I said, some ludicrous reason. I'm with DryBoobsBoatin over there, I need people below me on the list. Had my proposed line effective date pushed back once already, don't want it to happen again.........silly!

Trust me I know. I'm on RSV myself. There are no plans for growth so the only way any of us move up is via attrition. All of us thought JB and Federal Express would take a sweet number of pilots. It hasnt happened.

I think that when LCC and DAL ramps up later this yr or next year, a lot of folk will bail. IF the DAL TA passes, which i hope it doesnt, expect a lot of movement.

Just a question? Why do you hope it doesn't? I ask because I do not know the details of that contract. Are there too many loopholes?

As to attrition, it seems to go in little waves. We had a fair number of folks go to JB over the past 18 months but that seems to have stopped for now. And a couple left for FX.

The big stuff will happen when the majors have to hire for the age-65 thing. Nobody knows their plans but unless they want to shrink they will have to hire a lot of people to cover their own attrition. I think that's when we'll start to see movement at AWAC. It's traditionally slow though here so don't expect super fast movement.

The main reason is that it increases the amt of large rj's for CBA's. There is a "Delta TA" thread under the majors section that outlines it pretty well.
