Its getting harder to come to work with a positive attitude, and then keep it for four days straight.

Can we get a waiver from the FAA for company wide Prozac prescriptions?

Quote: Hate to be the bearer of bad news but....the big announcement rumor was from Eddie to a capt here. It was "big news coming" for EDDIE. This was before his promotion and MP's taking if the CP job. Doesn't mean there isn't an announcement coming, as something will have to happen if this place is to remain an airline. The recent vacancy announcement leads me to believe it will continue to operate, and continue to shrink.

Thanks for this really insightful post. The subject of awacs future hasn't been brought up on here before 10,000 times. Your thoughts are very original and not part of endless repitition on people claiming the doors are closing here. It's tiresome reading the same ol song over and over and over and over again. But still, a sincere thanks for your great contribution.

Thanks!! I appreciate your warm wishes regarding my career and your insightful post! While I am not excited about no new flying, and 14 CA vacancies being backfilled with 13 slots, just when do you think all these non wholly-owned airlines are going to go belly up? When are Skywest, Mesa, Republic, AWAC, TSA, GoJet, Compass, CommutAir (sorry if I left your airline out) going under? And who is going to pick up that flying? Mainline? Thats a lot of reduced flying! Wholly owned? While I wish for the demise of regional flying and it all being brought in house, it's not going to happen overnight and doesn't require any different exit strategy than the one most already have- get your time and get out.

I'm hoping for the best for all you guys. As we know the wholly owns are having major problems with staffing. Pdt is losing 5 dash 100 by end of the year so that will slow the bleeding for us temporarily, but we are still taking more 145s and we are not getting large numbers of pilots to keep up with attrition. With that said I think AWAC will be important to the future of AAG.

Notice how lame the corporate Q & A's have become? They must be weeding out quite a lot of them!

Yes, I can almost see American buying them and since the 145's, Dash's and the CRJ's are worn out old planes being parked and 175's coming to the newly combined WO.

I only read them to see how far away from the actual concerns of the employees they get. It gets more and more hilarious each time.

Be careful what you ask on there. I've heard that English Bob will call you to personally discuss your questions.

It is constantly amusing reading rampers complaints about travel benefits.
