Except they're both cheaper and you guys need a contract.

In the last 3.5 weeks I have gotten 4 JM calls and an ACARS. It's getting ridiculous. I've been called the last two days. They called me last night and I am working today...

anyone know of any other way to see how many hours you've blocked this year besides the "YTD Block" in CSS? I've compared it month by month with the payroll sheets put in our vfiles using the "FAR Block" column for this year and it matches with each individual month in CSS but the YTD shows i've blocked way more.

Same... I had to email the company for a breakdown of my total hours. Magically, in true AWAC fashion, they messed it up. My actual block was almost 80 hours less.

YTD value includes the next month you're scheduled for even though you haven't flown it.

I feel that it's just habit to write name and number. I have heard of captains going a little overboard explaining this to other crew.

  • Aircraft Security Search Forms

During a recent audit with American Airlines, we have found that some crews have been filling out too much information on the security search forms.
On the right hand side of the form it states that crews and ramp personnel must "write full name OR employee # for all individuals who conducted the search".
If you have completed a Canada Visual search or First flight of day Full search please indicate that by simply putting just your full first and last name OR employee number on the right hand side of the form. This is a request from AA Safety and Security.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask any of the flight management team.

Im just going to assume the uniform and headset allowances listed are backwards because there is not a headset in existence for 50$ that a pilot would rely on, and 250$ seems like way too much for a uniform
