That just depends on what you think your QOL should be. I had friends at Atlas that were married with kids and couldn't wait to get out. Flying heavy metal and around the world is cool for a few months and then it's all about being home. Throw that in with flying into different times zones and you'll age fast.
They didn't like being on the other side of the world for 10-15 straight days either.
I'm thinking if you're a single guy it would be an awesome experience but if you're married with kids not so much.

Those guys probably don't want to talk about it. They have the most to lose. Can you imagine being in their shoes? I can't. Hopefully something materializes for AWAC soon.

The ones I've talked to don't really have a backup plan. They admit that they'll have to do something, but they would rather not think about it as of yet.

I can see a lot of guys with 12000 and lower seniority numbers going to atlas for the time being.

U can pm me if you have any questions about Atlas.

After I moved to WI, my first choice of airline/base was ATW in the BAE-146...never got the interview...

Damn near anyone that's over 55 has been here for a long long long ass time. Unless they have multiple ex wives or are complete morons with their money every single one of them can retire if this place closes.

Hell I left after 3 years and 4 months as an FO with $33k in my 401. Your talking about guys who make $100+ (nearly mainline FO pay) as CAs on the Bach Jet, some for years on end.

The people who are gonna get Fd are the late 30s thru early 50s crowd.

You're assuming they were all hired in their 20's. There's plenty of newer CA's and even FO's that old.

Heres a fun rumor. I heard on the grapevine theyre trying to get approval from the feds to do 4 day line checks. That way they can keep an LCA in the right seat without technically violating the contract.
