Default Air Wisconsin Class Dates

Hello all. I am new to the forums here. I have been recently hired into a pool at Air Whiskey. Does anyone have any information on the next class dates? My guess is that they are going to be in January some time.

October 31st. Got the letter week and a half later. Got hired into a pool saying that they will contact me closer to the class dates. There were three of us. I am the only one who made it that day. Talked to both of the others 2 weeks later, and one had already got the decline letter. The other one has not heard anything yet.

Company email came out a few weeks ago infoming that they are still interviewing, but here are no classes planned until early 2007.

Trevtt...
I interviewed in July and was hired into a pool started class the first week of August. That company E-mail that came out a few weeks ago talks about "early 2007." Depending on where you are in the pool I'd say Jan-March.

At any rate... welcome to AWAC!

Trevtt-
I was one of three that interviewed on Oct 23rd with AWAC.. I received a pool letter that sounds identical to yours. Ive been in contact with Sarah through email and she said things are leaning toward january. Heres hoping its sooner than later!! But on the bright side we get to spend the holidays at home! Looking forward to class!

BTW... Has anybody heard whats goin on with midwest? What bearing will it have on the newbies?

Im coming from Ft. Lauderdale, former Caribbean Sun pilot.. In the interview i was told that they were trying to fill up a class for mid november and that would be the last class before the holidays. Apparently they didnt have enough to fill the last class..Assuming that is trully the case we should be getting a call as soon as they get a few more people in the class and we will start in Jan. some time..Ive heard classes have been running as low as 6-8 people.. chances are ill be seein ya in Appleton.. cant wait for the cold!! Do ya know of any other guys that might be in the class?

The CEO says Midwest will make their announcement by the end of the year.

Just a WAG, but if we get Midwest flying, hiring will be heavy from the first of the year looking forward. If we don't, there will still be steady hiring for attrition...and that attrition will skyrocket if we lose the contract grievance and don't win Midwest flying. Either way, hiring will probably be steady once the first class starts the first of the year.
