I don't know if there will be an official announcement from the company but this has been widely known for a year. It would have happened last year at this time but American begged AWAC not to do it since we had to cover flying for everyone else.
Under the contract extension AWAC is only obligated to have 67 aircraft available so the extra 4 are basically a bonus...that apparently American could not live without.
I have heard transfers from PSA, boneyard reclamations and American ponying up the $$ for the expensive aging aircraft these first four need to keep flying.

But that all seems to make sense,........ so obviously it won't happen.

I've been hearing that the FAA is getting a little hinky about PSA pilots operating three different airframes, sometimes all in the same day. So that, combined with the fact that hiring at PSA has slowed to a trickle, seems to bolster the idea that transferring the 200s to Air Willy (and taking more 900s) makes sense. I think we'll also again see the transfer of envoy 700s slow to a point predicated on PSA's ability to staff them.

And just to stir the pot, I've heard some wild rumors about PSA offering you Whiskey pilots some sort of first year pay commiserate with the pay scale you are at now if you come over to PSA. I have no clue how our union would deal with that one, but I have heard it.

After filing the hiring bonus grievance, the union sent our an email to the members talking about how the company HAD to do it and all but EXCUSED the company's flouting of our contract. It was disgusting and I don't see them striking a hard line posture on what you mentions either. Anything to get more dues in the door!

I would be very surprised if we don't get, at least a few, of PSA -200s or at least some others from somewhere else.
It sounds like the only shot they have of staffing and taking delivery of the last of the -900/700s would be to shed some of em.
Time will tell.
