Zero hires is not quite accurate... we took on a few F-18 types looking to get currency this month. The flights are still being staffed, thanks largely to the remaining FOs picking up flights at 200%. Maybe those of us staying are dumbasses, but until it's official I'll put off sidestepping to another regional. It's also a Great place to block 100 hours a month...

im sure none of us including myself wanna see awac close but simple math and industry trends dont paint a grand picture. this is the tail end of the regional industry, and like ive said before, its not 2004 anymore where airlines are giving away flying like oprah giving away cars. there is 50 seat flying to be had sure, but not in terms of growth, just shifting it around and it is gonna go to where it can be done cheapest, i.e the WO's

Ok. For those of you that want to harp on meaningless technicalities you are the CEO of airline X. You have 550 pilots. You are losing on average 30 pilots a month. You are hiring on average 2 pilots a month so they can gain currency and go to Delta. How long will airline X be operational?

Becuase even when "delta and aa had people leaving in droves" they still had people on file. Can't recall a time when people just didn't want to show up to delta. The current issue here is that awac sprinting to be the next Great Lakes of pilot groups. Just a handful of guys flying a handful of EAS routes. But yeah keep telling yourself delta is gonna call back becuase awac has shown their worth over the years. Hell they'll probably just buy the pilot group wouldn't that be grand! Glad you still think awac is a healthy airline tho.
Yea I heard the rumor of taking out 41 seats and single pilot ops with a base of Lancaster with bwi round trips all day long.

Yes you do. Your previous post clearly indicate what you want.
WO's voting in subpar contracts when they didn't need to. Don't forget that. You now work at one...

I guess long enough for the pilots of airline X to be trained and placed on the bottom of your seniority list?

I don't work for one of those. I do work for one where a contract was signed so that a court system wouldn't determine people's livelihood.
